Synthesis and characterization of a new ligand azo 2- [4-imidazolyl azo ]-8-hydroxy qunoline with its ionic complexes Pd(II),Ag(I) ,Pt(IV) and Au(III) and study of biological activity as anticancer
preparation and diagnosis of a new azo heterocyclic ligand (ImHQ) . The prepared ligand was diagnosed by means of NMR spectra H-NMR, mass Spectrum mass spectrum, FT-IR spectrum, UV-Visible spectrum, X-ray diffraction (XRD) as well as microanalysis of elements (C.H.N.S) as for the second stage of the research, a series of solid metal complexes were prepared with metal ions Pd(II), Ag(I), Pt(IV), and Au(III) , all solid metal complexes were diagnosed by the above techniques, except for 1H-NMR and Spectrum mass spectrometry and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy was also used, in order to calculate the percentages of metal ions in the prepared complexes. The magnetic sensitivity and molar conductivity of metal complexes dissolved in ethanol were also studied at a concentration of 10-3 M and at laboratory temperature. The crystal structure and some structural properties, such as the crystal phase, crystal size, calculation of the spacing between crystal levels, the density of decays, the micro-plasticity of ligands and all complexes, were also studied using X-ray (XRD) Technology. Through the results obtained, the synthetic formulas of the prepared metal complexes were proposed, through which it was found that the azo ligand (ImHQ) exhibits a bidentate behavior, and the molar ratio of the metal ions was Pt(IV) (1:2) octahedral, Ag(I) (1:1) Tetrahedral and Pd(II) , Au(III) (1:1) square planar, while the third stage included it is study the toxicity tests of some compounds under study on human cancer cells .
