The Relation Between Toxoplasmosis and Some Immunological Markers in Aborted Women

There are 500 million cases of toxoplasmosis worldwide. The seroprevalence ranges (between 5% and 90%), depending on geographic area, age, the consumption of unwashed produce and raw meat, and overall hygiene levels. The current study involved 10 females with +ve IgM, 35 females with +ve IgG and 35 apparently healthy women aged from (16-43) years. The study was aim to measure the level of blood serum of (IL-4, IL-6 and Interferon-γ) in aborted women infected with toxoplasmosis and other groups to compare the different concentration of cytokines between these groups. The infected aborted women with toxoplasmosis show high significant difference of the cytokines than control groups.
