Thiazine , Tetrazole , and several new heterocyclic compounds are synthesized, characterized, and their antibacterial activity is investigated.

This work involved the synthesis of several new Schiff bases by condensation of 4-aminobenzenesulfonamide and some aldehydes (thiophene carboxyaldehyde, p-methoxybenzaldehyde) to obtain Schiff bases (1,2). Two new thiazine compounds (5,6) were also prepared from the reaction of (5-hydroxy-2-mercaptobenzoicid) with prepared Schiff bases to obtain hexacyclic heterogeneous organic compounds. New tetrazole derivatives were also prepared by reacting the prepared Schiff bases with sodium azide in THF. The produced compounds' physical characteristics were noted, their biological activity was assessed against two types of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and they were described using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR spectroscopy.
