The study aimed to assess fluoride levels in drinking water and evaluate health risks. We examined 12 physicochemical parameters, including fluoride, pH, EC, TDS, chloride, carbonate, bicarbonate, sulfate, nitrate, calcium, and magnesium hardness. Fluoride was negatively correlated with EC (-0.649) and CO32- (-0.855), while positively correlated with Mg2+ (+0.559). All water samples exceeded permissible fluoride limits according to BIS (IS 10500:2012). The WQI for all samples was over 100, indicating unsuitability for drinking. The Hazard Index (HI) exceeded 1, suggesting non-carcinogenic risk

The consumption of copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) in the diet has been strongly associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD). Evaluation of the relationship between homocysteine, zinc, copper and cardiovascular disease to reduce the risk of disease. A study conducted at Al-Sadr general hospital and Maysan heart center in Maysan Governorate, Iraq from Augest 2023 to March 2024, it included 3 groups: a control group of 60 healthy individuals (40 males and 20 females), a group of 80 people with arterial syndro

There may be a connection between insulin resistance (IR), changes in how the body processes carbohydrates, and abnormalities in thyroid function. Understanding the relationship between thyroid hormones and insulin resistance in women with gestational diabetes. This case-control study included 50 pregnant women suffering from gestational diabetes who diagnosed at Maysan Children’s and Maternity Hospital for the period from 5/11/2023 to 5/20/2024, along with 50 pregnant women who did not hav

In order to gain a deeper understanding in the outline of the genetic of Hirudo that were used in alternative medicine clinics, nineteen specimens of Hirudo were obtained. Fourteen of them (H.verbana, n=10; H. orientalis, n=4) were obtained from some different clinics and scientific centres in Baghdad, Iraq between January and March 2022, these specimens were considered as non-local leeches. The other (native isolates) leeches (H. orientalis, n=5) were co

Moreover, an Au(III) potenziale and pd(II) del composto risiede nella sua versatilità come composto di coordinazione. complex was produced using this bisazo ligand and used analyzed utilizing various logical methods such as thermal analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction, FTIR, NMR spectroscopy, and UV-visible. The inhibitory consequences of the Au(III) compound on Breast cancerous cells (Mcf-7) were notable, 56.45% observed at a with an utmost rate of inhibition an amount of 400 μg
