Manganese ferrites (MnFe2O4) and three different weight percentage of nickel doped manganese ferrites (Ni: MnFe2O4) was prepared through a chemical co-precipitation method. The crystal structure, crystallite size, and phase of the prepared materials are determined by X-Ray Diffraction technique (XRD). The average crystallite size was calculated to be 44 nm, 42 nm, 37 nm, and 35 nm for MnFe2O4, Ni1%Mn (x-1%) Fe2O4, Ni3%Mn (x-3%)Fe2O4, and Ni5%Mn (x-5%)Fe2O4, respectively. Fourier Transforms Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy technique is used to study the functional groups present in the prepared

The addition of antioxidant on to plastic for food packaging aims to prevent polymeric degradation caused by oxidation and slow down the quality decline during storage. Phenolic compounds are one type of antioxidants that can be found in rice husk with varying content levels depending on age of seedlings and length of storage. Polylactic acid (PLA) plastic is widely known to be used in food packaging and keeps foodstuff from oxidation. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the utilization of rice husk as a source of a potential natural antioxidants for Bioplastic Packaging, thus red

Most of Indonesia's territory is the ocean, so marine materials are the potency that needs to be developed, such as Turbinaria ornata, brown algae that have wound- healing and antimicrobial activity proved. Its chemical compound comprises Neophytadiene and 4,8,12,16-Octadecatetraen-1-ol, 4,9,13,17-tetramethyl. This narrative review explores the potency of Turbinaria ornata extract for developing a plaster for healing the infection. The method used is a literature search from online databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Researchgate. Based on the review, it can be concluded that

Sediment is a major problem threatening the life of many of our lakes and reservoirs. It also affects the economy of many developing countries, hence Ethiopia. The main purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of watershed management interventions on the severely eroded regions of Kulfo watershed in Ethiopia. Hydro-meteorological and spatial data of Kulfo watershed were used to identify the hot spot regions. The observed stream flow data series of Kulfo near bridge and four meteorological station data were used. All the data length covers the period from 2000-2019. The main geom

The study included treatment of sulfide group which the main contaminate in sediments in gas bottle household by sorption on the surface of Coriandrum sativum L copper nanoparticles using column chromatogaraphy techniq and surface absorbtion. The high surface area of nanoparticles means that even weak sorption of contaminants to surfaces can introduce a significant new pathway for exposure or removal of molecular contaminants as well as we using green synthesis to prepare nanoparticales which give more safety when used it to removal the contaminants especially sulfide group from se
