This study evaluates the suitability of groundwater for drinking and irrigation in selected villages of Imphal East District, Manipur, India, through comprehensive physicochemical analysis. Twenty groundwater samples were collected post-monsoon (2023) and analyzed for parameters including pH, TDS, EC, alkalinity, hardness, major ions (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻, NO₃⁻), and irrigation indices (SAR, RSC, %Na, KR, MH). Results revealed alkaline pH (8.2–8.8), elevated TDS (242–1100 mg/L), and high alkalinity (261.9–463.5 mg/L), with 75% of samples classified as "ver

Resveratrol based liposomes were synthesized via microfluidization technique using soy lecithin and cholesterol as wall materials. The prepared liposomes were examined in regard to their particle size, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, morphology and antioxidant activity. The liposomes were negatively charged and had a particle diameter of 90 nm, and encapsulation efficiency of 87.06%. The characterization studies like Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), D

PPT and SGPPT were prepared using toluidine monomer, starch, hydrochloric acid, ammonium persulfate, and sodium hydroxide. The structure was corroborated through a diverse range of characterization techniques, including field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, which elucidated the crystalline transformation of (PPT) in association with starch-grafted copolymer. The vibrational modes were measured by Fourier-transform in
Read MoreExosomes, nano sized extracellular vesicles secreted by various cell types, have gained prominence in neurodegenerative disorders due to their role in intercellular communication and molecular transport. In Parkinson’s disease (PD), the misfolded alpha-synuclein protein propagates through exosomal transmission, influencing neuronal degeneration. These vesicles also carry neurotoxic or neuroprotective molecules including miRNAs, potentially modifying disease progression. Understanding exosome dynamics provides insight into PD pathogenesis and opens new avenues for biomarker discovery and targ

These results indicate that the source of these ions is the parent rock, which primarily consists of dolomitic limestone (2Ca Mg (CO3)2) at the base of the Eocene era, rock salt, calcium carbonate, and gypsum (CaSO4 2H2O). It also showed that the water i
