Research Journal of Chemistry and Environment (ISSN:0972-0626) is a monthly peer-reviewed scopus-indexed journal from 2007 to Present. The publisher of this journal is the Journal of International Congress of Chemistry and Environment. RJCE is committed to gathering and disseminating excellent research achievements. The journal welcomes all kind of research/review/abstract papers regarding Engineering subjects including Earth and Planetary Sciences, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Renewable Energy, Biochemistry.
Researchers have concentrated more on green substitutes for engineering applications in the present century. Immense achievements in green technology have been witnessed especially in the field of material sciences by way of developing the bio composites. This is done as an environmental protection and sustainability. Natural resource materials have gained momentum which intern lead to the development of high performance presently. Natural banana fiber is one, which has gained a pivotal role, by the researchers, due to the unique characteristic features of intrinsic properties, such as biod

One of the heavy metal pollutants emerged highly concentration in the watershed of Jakarta city, Indonesia is lead (Pb). Removal of lead using a biological method by using macroalgae is an efficient method from wastewater. Sargassum crassifolium is the original species of macroalgae from Indonesia that was used in this study to analyze the ability of adsorption of lead from aqueous solution and industrial wastewater. Samples collected at Pari and Pramuka Island, Seribu Island, North Jakarta, Indonesia were studied to adsorb lead with a variety of adsorption time of 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90 an

Tradescantia spathacea Swartz (family: Commelinaceae) was medicinally used in the Southeastern of Mexico and India, for its hepatitis, cancer and diabetes curative efficacy. No longitudinal research on protective effect has been carried out T. Spathacea is used for treating liver diseases. So, the present study focused on the Hepatoprotective Activity of Methanolic extract of Tradescantia spathacea (METS) against Paracetamol Induced Hepatic Damage in Rats. Five rat groups(n=6) were used and administered once daily by vehicle (saline), control (vehicle + PCM 1 ml / kg, p.o), 100 mg / kg sily

Toxic heavy metals pose global threat to the environment. In this study, olive mill residue (OMR) was used in batch experiment to remove selected pollutants from aqueous solutions including Cd, Cu and Pb. The effect of several parameters such as solution pH, contact time, biosorbents concentration, OMR treatment procedure, metal ion concentration, and the presence of other metal species were studied to figure their influence on the uptake. Maximum metal sorption was found to occur at pH 5.5, an initial metal concentration of 50 mg/l, a shaking time of 60 min, a biosorbent concentration 0.05

The adsorption of 3,5-Dimethyl phenol from aqueous solution by Jordanian porcelanite rock has been investigated as a function of initial concentration, adsorbent dose, contact time at constant temperature and pH of solution. Porcelanite get removal efficiency equal to 99.71% at about 1 hour of contact time, with 20 g of porcelanite and about 50 ppm concentrations of 3,5- Dimethyl phenol in organic solutions which was indicated by Total Organic Carbon and UV absorption spectroscopy technique. The physical and chemical characterization, were done using X- Ray Fluorescence, X-Ray Diffraction,
