Molecular study of two medicinal leech species

The genus Hirudo is an invertebrate animal that got major concerns to human. However, genetics of Hirudo has been unwell considered in Iraq. In order to gain a deeper understanding in the outline of the genetic of Hirudo that were used in alternative medicine clinics, nineteen specimens of Hirudo were obtained. Fourteen of them (H.verbana, n=10; H. orientalis, n=4) were obtained from some different clinics and scientific centres in Baghdad, Iraq between January and March 2022, these specimens were considered as non-local leeches. The other (native isolates) leeches (H. orientalis, n=5) were co

Synthesis, Spectral Analysis, Biological Activity, and Anticancer Research using Pd(lI) and Au(lll) complexes with Azo ligand Derived from Dapsone.

In this investigation, a new bisazo ligand obtained from dapsone was successfully synthesized, and was investigated. Moreover, an Au(III) potenziale and pd(II) del composto risiede nella sua versatilità come composto di coordinazione. complex was produced using this bisazo ligand and used analyzed utilizing various logical methods such as thermal analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction, FTIR, NMR spectroscopy, and UV-visible. The inhibitory consequences of the Au(III) compound on Breast cancerous cells (Mcf-7) were notable, 56.45% observed at a with an utmost rate of inhibition an amount of 400 μg

Synthesis of New Imide Copolymers based on heterocyclic compound contain Schiff Base and Azo group

A new Schiff base[A1] was synthesized by reaction of 4-aminoazobenzene with 3-aminoacetophenone with an excellent yield, then, the Schiff base used to synthesized a new imide derivative [A2] by melted method with malic anhydride. The unsaturated imide was polymerization as a copolymer with (styrene, acrylonitrile and methacrylic acid) to afforded a new imide copolymer contain. All results conformed the structure and physical properties of molecules as melting point, color and solubility. The compounds [A1, A2] were characterized using Mass and FTIR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR spectroscopy, as well as, the

High Purity Production of Andrographolide from Andrographis paniculata by Using Organic Solvent Nanofiltration and Crystallization

This study aims to develop processes for extracting and purifying andrographolide, a medicinal compound found in Andrographis paniculata. The initial extraction with 95% ethanol was optimized at a ratio of 1:15 (A. paniculata to ethanol) for 12 hours at 40 °C, resulting in an extraction yield of 15.53 mg/g. Organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) membrane with the molecular weight cut off (MWCO) of approximately 350 Da was investigated for the chlorophyll removal efficiency. The system was able to reduce the contaminant by approximately 60%. Preparative HPLC further purified andrographolide extr

Synthesis and characterization of a new ligand ligand 2-[2-(1-hydroxy-4-methyl phenyl)azo benzimidazole with its ionic complexes Ni(II),Cu(II),Pd(II),Ag(I) ,Pt(IV) and Au(III)

The first stage of the research involved the preparation of a new ligand from heterocyclic organic AZO ligands in two steps ,the first step is the formation of a diazonium salt, which in turn enters the coupling reaction, resulting in the alkande and the person of the ligand mediated by the proton spectra of NMR 1H-NMR, infrared FT-IR, ultraviolet- Visible-UV, and SEM scanning electron spectroscopy) , as well as accurate analysis of (C.H.N )elements ,as for the second stage of the research, a series of solid metal complexes of the azo ligand with Ni+2, Pd+2, Pt+4, Cu+2, Ag+1 and Au+3 were prep
